Weekend tour to Nakhchivan

SPECIAL WEEKEND TOUR TO NAKHCHIVAN - 2 DAYS
A fascinating two days weekend tour to this little known territory of Azerbaijan,
the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. You will visit historical/cultural monuments
in Nakhchivan city and Ordubad region, 12th century
monument “Garabaghlar” in Sharur region, observe “Mount Agri” where Noah’s Ark
is believed to be and much more. 

Day 1: Nakhchivan - Saturday
On Saturday morning at 7am depart for Nakhchivan
From Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport with Azerbaijan
Airlines. Transfer to your hotel and after some relax
start the tour in Nakhchivan city. Sightseeing in
Nakhchivan city to XII century Momina Khatun
Monument, Yusif Ibn Kuseyir Tomb, Carpet Museum,
formerly Khan’s House and etc.
- Lunch in Nakhchivan city.
Travel to Garabaghlar village of Sharur region to see
XII century Monument. Drive to Sadarak region –
Turkish border to see “Mount Agri”.
- Dinner at the Fish & Kebab restaurant on the side
of Arpachay lake. Drive back to your hotel in
Nakhchivan city.

Day 2: Nakhchivan - Sunday
Visit 5th century “Gilan” city in Ordubad region and Historical Museum.
- Lunch in Ordubad city.
Drive back to Julfa region to see “Daridagh” Mineral Healing Spring.
On the way back to Nakhchivan city visit to Asabu Kahf cave as stated in Koran.
- Dinner in Nakhchivan city.
Transfer to the airport at 7pm on Sunday and flight back to Baku city.
